The oldest grandson got a ride in the RV8 this fall, but we don't do the Go-Pro video and camera stuff, although his dad has one. He (Dylan) was trying to explain to his mom (who is scared willie-less of flying) how cool it was riding in the backseat and doing a roll and a loop. A friend of ours sent me this video and in it, a woman is getting the exact same kind of ride Dylan got, albeit not with all the mountains around. :)

Here's the video set to the music of "Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug." (http://vimeo.com/111876062) Greatness!

And here's Dylan strapped in and then ready to go with his dad taking a picture before we launched.

I got to give a flight review in an RV8 a few years back. What a great airplane! Someday I'm going to build one too.

Handsome Lad and RV8!
Long ago when the kids were small I gave rides in my 182 then the Bonanza. I don't think they will ever forget it. Good thing too cause I've got nothing to fly now! :)

I love giving rides, especially to kids. He looks like he is
having a blast.

Brings back memories. Friend of my Dad had a Piper Cub. I got a lot of rides and stick time in it, took all the ground school for my pilots license but couldn't afford the flight time to get it.
