Savage rifle

Has anyone on this forum ever ordered a custom rifle or a rifle with specs not in their catalog?
If so, what kind of results did you have? Was it more expensive?

I did not even realize that savage had a custom shop for the last few decades. I am sure if they do, that it cost more.

Although I have not I have read some threads on other forums where other shooters have. They seem pretty happy with the only negative being you pay full retail as Savage goes on MSRP for all "custom" builds.
Give Savage a call, maybe they offer a discount if your local FFL dealer places the order for you.
