RCBS 4x4 Progressive press available new

Was surfing the midwayusa website and saw the rcbs 4x4 progressive press available on special order for $309. wow I thought this press went extinct. plan to get one. it is only 4 stations but super durable and can be made to auto index. I think I have some shellplates and saw some for sale in ebay. plan to reload 45acp 357mag and 223 rem with it. now am using an old redding turret press.

what do you think guys?

No. Run away. Seriously. I had one. I did not like the indexing or priming. I sold mine, with four shell holders but minus the powder measure for I think it was $75 and think I got the better end of the deal. I love RCBS and except for a couple of blue things, my bench is a sea of green. I think RCBS makes a couple of other progressives that I would try first if for some reason what you have isn't satisfactory.

I've seen used ones go for that. If you do not like the auto advance it can be disabled and manually advanced. 4 stations are plenty.

For just a little bit more, you can get a LNL with 5 stations, full progressive, one of the best powder measures available and 500 bonus bullets.
