Rossi 92 SRC

I just got a Rossi 92 SRC in 357 magnum last week. It is an older gun, probably from the mid-80's as it has the annoying puma head medallion on the side. I have seen pictures of silver coins and other stuff in the place of the puma head, but my question is, how to you remove the medallion? I have also found threads where people said their's fell out, so maybe its not so hard?

If they fall out, I's suspect a low strength solder, or adhesive was used. I would try a little heat and see what happens.
