Lost my scope

Picked up a SBH that was scoped, the seller bought it scoped and did not have the sights.
So I put sights on last night, front looks to tall, I will ether file it down or
order a shorter front blade after I do a bit of testing.

You'll appreciate that tall front blade if you use the heavy weight boolits.

Getting sights for the SBH from Ruger that are tall enough is like pulling hens teeth (to mix a metaphor or two :-)). After all these years, they still won't admit that their front sights are too short.

The front sight on my SBH looks taller than the one in the pic, and it is bone stock from 1990...

yup I wouldn't file on it until your absolutely done with load development.
