I have few 38/357 revolvers and know it is made for them.
But was really wondering if it could be used as a duel purpose, and also use it in the semi auto 9mm
And it is 147 or so with HP pins installed and sized to .356" how it would do in a 3rd Gen Smith as it does have a front crimp groove. Would seat to that groove and just tapper crimp as normal? or would the nose be to long?
I do have Ruger 357/9mmm convertible. and a few other 38/357 if it did not work out in the 9 so would not be a loss if it would not.

But have no heavy 9mm molds
And just got a 358 124Gr. TC RG2 cavity PB Brass to use in the 9mm cases but would also like to try this one lol

Mine has a VERY wide front band above the crimp. I'm betting that full diameter would cause you some issues.

I am going to try it in mine this weekend.

I'm also betting you have some issues with that full diameter nose. My experience with heavy bullets showed me that a longer, slimmer nose might be beneficial. That one may have issues with the typical short throats that most 9mms have. It may work well in a Blackhawk though.

I have loaded and shoot quite a few of the NOE 160 WFN in 9mm. I gave up because under recoil the rounds in the mag would self seat deeper in case. I was using starting loads for listed 158 gr boolitz in the 9mm.

Rounds were shot from, PF-9, CPX-2, and a P-38, they fed perfect, I was not liking the boolitz setback because deep seating will cause pressures to skyrocket. Ammo loaded with LEE dies,

I went back to the happy combo with the boolitz from my, NOE 358-135 RG 4 mold.
