My neighbor Ron called me a couple of days ago. He told me he wanted to sell his Bersa thunder 380. He bought it new and never shot it. Comes with a holster, and the box of fiochi fmj when he bought it. He wanted $175 for it. We don't have a dime to spare this time of year. I already have a thunder 380 identical to the one he wanted to sell, but without the integrated lock like mine. I had the idea to sell mine for $250 and buy his for $175 and profit $75.

I was telling a guy at work what I was planning on doing. He stopped me before I got past " I thinking of selling my Bersa". He said to bring it in so he can look at it. I went home and got it. He asked my price, I said $275. He offered $225. I countered at $175 and one of his Titan .25 tackle box guns. He bit on the worm and accepted the deal. I got home to catch Ron backing out of his driveway with his gun to go to town and sell it to the local gun shop. I handed him the $175, he forked over the gun, holster, and ammo.

So that's how I scored a free gun, a newer and nicer thunder 380 than I had, holster, and 50 rounds of .380.

sorry for the long post about a cheap O pocket gun, but SWMBO could not care less as it does it affect her. I had to share. Lol

That's a good story. Everyone got what they wanted and you did well I think.

Nice deal; I've been all over the galexy kid seen a lot of strange stuff but nothing beats a bersa at your side: paraphrased heavily fro star wars a new hope. Merry Christmas

I understand that a .25 acp is an anemic cartridge for defense, but if nothing else it is trading stock. I had an old man tell me the reason they made .25 pistols so small. He said it is so that when you shoot someone with it and it doesn't kill them, it won't hurt as much when they take it away and shove it up your hind end. Lol

Sure does, and beats a .22 all to pieces too :)

Not so sure about hpdrifter and dubber123 comments. Goliath was killed with a thrown rock. There are some potent 22 loads out there if you can find them.

I ran a pistol shoot for about 7 years. If you are in search of a misfire, look no further that a .22 LR. Many, many more times the malfunctions than any center fire. I"ll take a .25 ACP FMJ that goes bang Vs. the best .22 LR that goes click. Just my personal opinion.

Sounds like a good time was had by all and you wound up ahead in the
end. I'd call it a good day.

I think of you every time I use my chaps, which is every time I run the
saw - thanks again!

Good to hear that Bill. They saved my thigh last winter. They are protection for us just as is a carry gun. Great if you ever need them, and easy to get used to for every day use.
