i think my lee sizer makes my .44mag bullets too small
my ruger nm blackhawk slugs at
bore .4291
cylinder 4321`
i been getting terrible leading with the sized rounds
but i found about 50 keith 245gr lead bullets that are .433 or so
i am going to load them as they are and see what happens

That should work, as a starting point. If that were my gun I would size them to .432" (because I have a size die of .432"). All my revolvers shoot lead bullets sized to the same diameter as the cylinder throats...

.432" is where it will be. But that is small groove for a BH and even .430" should shoot.

l had the same problem with my SW 657 in 41mag..l was having a bit of leading with RCBS 210GR SWC mold l had been casting...l simply rolled a few of them UNSIZED in a bit of LEE Alox and loaded them up. A trip to Shooters range proved those unsized 41s produced no leading and my groups shrunk by a half-inch @ 25yds. l am shooting 5.5gr of TiteGroup and a Fed LPP. App 950fps velocity

What do your sized boolits measure?

Do not fool with boolits larger then throat. Your gain is zero.

If the Lee sizes smaller than the throats, you can open it up a bit with sand paper. Work slooooow, it goes fast.

There have been a lot of guns, especially revolvers, that were made with throats too small for the bore. If that is the situation the solution is to open the throat.
