Are there currently any factory .458 Socom bolt guns being made? I know Wilson and Lehigh Defense make AR's as well as a few other people, but I haven't seen a single bolt gun. Has anyone built one?

Yeah guys have built them but no "factory" rifles that I know of are made yet. SBR sells .458 barrels for the Rem700 and Savage. I think Tromix plans to make a run of barrels some time. Tromix has made at least one Mossberg MVP rifle (originally a .223) in .458 and he may be making a run of them in the future. Check out the .458socom forum for pics and info of .458 bolt guns. Tony R posted pics of their Tromix Mossberg there.

The .458 socom can be loaded hotter in a bolt gun vs an AR.

Edit: Here is a link to Tromix site for the Mossberg MVP. Rifle weighs 6.0lbs in the picture.
