I'm not sure where the best place to ask this might be, but I have a'98 Krag (sporter if it matters), that has the standard 2-stage trigger. It would be nice to do something about the 20# second stage. Honing sears etc, are not out of the question but generally I find better ways to adjust trigger screws using set screws that limit engagement. How to do that with the Krag is not so obvious to me. Has anyone here done something like that?

Alternatively, is there an aftermarket drop in trigger for the Krag that is currently available?

thanks!

Huber Concepts makes a Krag trigger. It is pricey, but it is also good.

Bob208, I was thinking of brazing or TIG.
