I'm starting to shop for a 130'ish grain mould for a 7mm Tcu BBl I picked up. So far I've spotted a Lyman 287346. I was kind of hoping for a FP so I could hunt with it too. Whats the coolest stuff out there for it?

I am shooting the RCBS silewet gas checked and lube about 152 gr. Accurate in my 14"
contender shooting H322 powder fun to shoot mild recoil.

68 couper,

Ditto, Ditto RCBS 140 Sil Mould..... mine weighs out 154 fully dressed. It is the best shooting boolit I have found for the 7TCU.
T/C chambers vary a lot, but seat the boolit out as far as you can.

Is this it? RCBS 2-Cavity Bullet Mold 7mm-145-SIL 284 Caliber, 7mm (285 Diameter) 145 Grain Silhouette Gas Check http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=689538&t=11082005

It looks like it might be cool to hollow point this round.

That's it...... usually one on ebay for sale, seen one or two here also......I bought mine new in 1988, have picked up others along the way and sold them fast as I got them.

I use one similar to this one in .264 for my 6.5TCU from NEI. Mine was made with out the forward band because of the short throat on the custom barrel and one out of the four cavities without a gas check. That one is nearly perfect for case forming loads with the short neck of the TCU series.

I use this "SOUP CAN" mold in several 7mm barrels with good to great success.
