Again let me start by saying a HUGE thanks to everybody, but to Mozeppa, and to Stolzerandsons in particular.
So far I have had some interesting muck ups trying to build a lock from scratch in wood (and delrin). But I have learned ALOT. I am going to put these projects on hold until after the holidays as all the wood and delrin shavings and slivers are seriously killing our vacuum cleaner. With my hands as bad as they are, and my patience alot thinner than the materials I have been trying to use half the mistakes are sheerly from me being impatient.
Anyway have a good holidays! I will be back to butchering materials in a vain inept attempt at success after the new year!
