I believe I get better fillout by adding 2% by weight tin to WW alloy. If anyu of those toys are in good shape you might try peddling them on an auction site, it's amazing what people will pay!

If they are true pewter they are mostly tin, do a search of the archives and find the thread several weeks, maybe months, back on this subject. They may be worth more for the tin than sold otherwise, especially if broken. Dale

Yep...all of the Indians I know are broke, too.

I've been using pewter items I pick up at garage sales and thrift stores, mainly ugly mugs, they've worked great for me. Have to be careful as there's a million alloys that look similar, many of which will mess up your pour. I only buy items actually marked "pewter", which is relatively rare, but the marking (is supposed to) indicate a certain alloy, mainly tin.

Still laughing over that one.

Except in California, where a family of four can claim that they are the 7th Street band of the Oakland Nation and get organized crime to build them a casino.

Last time I was in Tulsa, I saw Indians driving Hummers. Didn't look broke to me
