Am I looking at the picture correctly? It looks like the sprue plate must be moved in a straight line to cut the sprue. With 10 sprue's to cut, I would think a hefty hammer would be required. OH! And obviously, a mold guide to support the weight.

for those of you with a 10 cavity mold,
is it much faster than 2 or 3, 6 cavity molds?

how does the sprue cutter ride over the bolt heads on the mold blocks but still line up right ?

I'm thinking the spur plate slides away from the mold handles in the horizontal direction. That way it could engage the spur bolts on top of the mold.
.
just guessing here, though

I take it you close the mold halves, then flip the sprue plate down and slide it back,
pour in your alloy, knock the plate forward to cut the sprues and flip it open, then open the blocks to release the boolits.

Unbelieveably faster. I have a 10 cavity H&G 55s that casts the 380 bullet that I shoot in the MAC submachinegun. I can cast a pile of them in a couple of hours. You can empty a 20 lb Lee pot very quickly. The mould guide is an absolute must.
