The title says it all.
What pistol or revolver would light your fire if you found one in your stocking come Christmas Morn.

Me, I'd like a minty Colt Official Police, or else a Springfield Range Officer.

I told the wife if she bought me a gun I wanted a Single Seven 4 5/8".

I really don't care what is under the tree as long as she is there with me.

Since I just bought a new H&R Handi in 45-70 a couple of weeks ago, I would have to say my Marlin 880 bolt action .22cal that I lost in pawn years ago(5/8" groups all day long) or my dad's Ruger Black Hawk in .357 which I gave to my brother after my dad passed away. Nostalgia Christmas. Most I want my son home from Afghanistan. Merry Christmas y'all.

I was going to say "the severed head of O'Bozo", but then I saw where you then restricted it to firearms. Bummer...

A Colt Woodsman, Sport model with 6" barrel. I'm not too picky, either a second or third model would do.

Failing that, a three or four inch adjustable sighted S&W J frame in .32 S&W Long.

I've been kinda lusting after the new smith model 69? It's the 5 shot l-frame chambered in 44mag. Looks like a hoot to shoot. Santa could surely bring that!

Thank your son for his service for me. We just wrapped out daughters stuff up and put it into an APO Box. She is still in Qatar and will be for several more months.

My wish would be impossible. I would like to find many of the guns I foolishly traded off over the years magically under that tree. On the other hand, that wish is as realistic as hoping for a real gun under the tree. That would be a surprise! But here goes. I would really wish for a rifle exactly like the one used by Selleck in Quigley Down Under. My second choice would be a sleek SxS in 28 gage.

Anything in a Ruger SA!
Been leaving the iPad laying around and on Rugers web page for the wife to see. Either she's not taking the bait or just ignoring my not so subtle hint. Im pretty sure it's the latter.

A Springfield 1911 would be nice.

Another RBH 357 so I don't have to shoot my old 3 screw.

Ah, heck, I'd be happy with some Lee 44 Sp/Mag dies and another turret plate for my press for my early christmas present to myself; RBH Hunter 44 mag.

A Colt large frame (New Service) target revolver from the thirties with front sight adjustable for elevation . Not sure exactly what model, I have an old book with handsome detailed line drawings of a number of these , I'd have to dig the book up and pick the one I like best. Mint condition of course.

And you consider that a *problem*?

Damn, if women wouldn't talk to/at me, I would consider myself LUCKY. It's just too much of a strain on the brain cells trying to make sense of their "logic" (and I'm using that term VERY loosely).

When I first read this post, I thought you wrote "chocolate covered standard poodle". I think that would be one of those "don't ask, don't tell" things... :)
