Carbine receiver price??

Anyone have an estimate on the value of a Springfield M1 carbine receiver.
These were made by the folks in Illinois.
Genesco??
Thought they were about $219 about 5 or 6 years ago.
Anyone obtained one new recently?

1 year ago I pay 175 euro for a receiver .30 carb. , in a gun shop in Amsterdam ,Holland.

Numrich offers them for $100 - $110 ... when they have them :-(
The CMP is offering used strip recievers with shot out barrels for ~ $150
You occasionaly see them on Guns America or GunBroker fetching upwards of $200.
you might want to try the military rifle and carbine specialty forums, they can help steer you to honest dealers and away from the shysters. -

I was trying to get a price for one I'm selling.
Ended up contacting Springfield and ended up conversing with a very cordial young woman there who told me when my receiver was made(April 2000) and what they last sold for($139).
Not used to that kind of service/information anymore.
Appreciate your answers. They helped me ascertain a value.
