We have friends who are moving to Illinois to be closer to their grandkids. He called up and said he had a present for me because he said the moving company wouldn't move them. So I found homes in my shop for: 225 primed 45 ACP cases, 2500 primers of assorted flavors, 1 lb Bullseye, 1 lb CFE 223, 1 lb Unique and a partial can 4064.

The Green Frog came to visit for a week and inspired me to do some work in the reloading room. I sized and lubed about 1500+ dbl ended .38 wadcutters. They are boxed labeled and ready to go! My drop ceiling is "dropping" and a repairman is coming tomorrow to fix it. I had to clean off my reloading bench to allow him room to work. The benefits are going to be great. After the repairs my bench will be clean and ready to go with my two Dillon 550B's along with my RCBS Rock Chucker ready to "hit it".

I have been hard at work rearranging part of my loading room. That is GOOD!

This is the first time in many years I haven’t loaded in three or four months. Not a single round . Getting lazy I guess. Want to go out and cast 100 lbs of assorted 9 mm and 38 bullets. I have I thank every lee mold they make in thes two calibers so I got a lot of casting to do.waiting for it to get below 85 or so

Cleaned about 800 223 cases in my Frankford tumbler. Set them out to dry in the sunshine to dry. They turned out beautiful also. Now deprime, clean pockets and check for military crimp, and trim what needs to be trimmed. Going to have a little help also, my wife wants to learn the process. That’s a good thing.

I have spent the last few days working on about one hundred 30-06 berdan cases that were range pickups. I have about two bricks of berdan primers sitting around and with the component shortage decided to use some up. Decapped the brass using the punch and pry method, washed them in an oxalic acid solution which worked great and then resized and trimmed them down to 58x7.7 Jap for my Arisakas. Not sure why I went through all the trouble, already have hundreds of 7.7 Jap reloads on the shelf but I needed some reloading therapy and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Loaded up 50 using 150 grain condom bullets, the rest will get lighter weight cast for 50 yd plinkers.

Need load data for Miester 180 SWC... especially COLA.....

Need load data for Miester 180 SWC... especially COLA.....

So the way I came up with my COL on this one was:
1) Lee's Modern reloading has almost all of it's have 45 acp loads listed at 1.20"
2) I have some magazines that state that (if reloading) a COL of 1.24-1.26 is the most reliable for feeding. - It's a Wilson Combat magazine, a friend recommended it and they are much nicer than the stock mags.
3) I tried a dummy round at 1.26 and it shaved off a little bit of the boolit, so I pulled it and sat/crimped it again at 1.24" and it cycled fine without mangling up the boolit.

So, as I was making these guys, I noticed that they were coming out right at or just on the short side of 1.24 and I was measuring with calipers and not a micrometer - so I'm calling my COL as 1.235" because it is somewhere between 1.235 and 1.24 - one day I'll buy a micrometer...

My load data is straight from Lee's Modern Reloading for a 230 grain round nose lead boolit. Now this design is a 237 grain design with the flat point - I found that they are weighing in at 217 grain or so with the HP. So my design plus the fact that my my COL is a tad bit longer probably makes that data very close to what they tested. NOE is also nice enough to publish QL bul files, so I bumped the load against that and it showed very similar velocities for the powder charges.

But - as always - we'll see when I get the chrony numbers vs the published numbers in the book vs the grouping on paper.

Getting the hang of it now with mostly good boolits. Pretty amazing piece of machining. Bought it off a member brand new but didn't notice it was a gas check style. I've got several .44 molds so I won't be shooting a large amount of these. That's o.k. too because I had to pay $77.00 for 1,000 Lyman gas checks.

Yesterday I cleaned out a spot in the reloading room and moved the tool chest in. I pulled the drawers to get the weight down to manageable by 2 guys. Got most of the tools and dies put away and took a break. I went back out there for something and noticed a smell like candles burning. I look over at the loading bench and there is a curl of smoke rising from the middle. I had swung the Luxo magnifier out of the way and it focused the sun through the window on a vacuum cleaner nozzle and had welded a 1 1/4 inch long bead on it. Caught it before it found stray powder kernels. Whew!

My ring magnifying/light recently died. It was always mounted between my two south facing windows. I've been considering it's replacement and have been considering a new location in front of one window where my primary workspace is.

My have to rethink that plan. I've got good insurance, but I'm not sure I want to test it out to that extent.

PS: Didn't do anything in the reloading room but did take a niece-in-law skeet shooting. Second time to the range. She's catching on and she's the one who asked to go both times.

Not bad for a person who admits that a couple of years ago she was hard core anti-gun.

She's been hanging around with an evil influence too much :bigsmyl2:

I spent an hour casting a bunch of 358156 boolits. I had thought that I had gotten a well-cared for used mold, but it turns out that it seems to have been unused before I got it off of the Ebay. This is the first time casting for me for awhile, so I was pleased when the new mold soon started to break in and turned out nice sharp bullets. It's a fine feeling to make a nice product!

Fired up the drip o matic. A friend wanted me to make him some sinkers. Couldn't say no because he gave me two pots and got me back into boolit it casting. A Lee 10 pound dripper and an old Lyman bottom pour. Also over 700 pounds of lead and boolits. What a pain it is to use an ancient worn out aluminum mold. Flashing on all, and the line hole was plugged and needed opening up. Plus that SOB got hot!! Oh well, for what he has given me, it was worth it.

Loaded 19 338 Win Mag for fire forming into 458 Win Mag brass. Had previously neck expanded with a 375 H&H die and annealed. Lost 1 during initial expanding. All 19 are now nice purdy 458's

Made reloading opportunities in a bunch of 204 Ruger's while coming in second in the varmint match AND winning both the 100 and 300 yard side bets for best score/group. Group size is used to decide ties at each yardage. Swapping the 6x18 for the 6.5x20 obviously helped. Plus perfect weather, it gets tough to see those 204 holes @ 300 yards. We can have severe mirage @ 300 in February here in Michigan.

Time to throw the brass in the polisher.

Nothing, yet. But it's on my agenda. I have a couple of friends in need of somethings I can be of help with to them. And I do mean friends at this point in life. I just need to whip up a fresh pile of CD's for my music box, the others have gotten old and aren't playing as well. A close friend picked up a 5 gallon bucket of police range range brass for me the other day. Sorting them by head stamp, tumbling them clean enough for safe sizing in a steel die (hey, it's my hobby and I'll do it my way) and then cleaning them again can take up plenty time. :)

I loaded up some 6mm Remington shells for son/friend they’re gonna need for hunting season. They were not very good stewards of brass either! Was only able to load 35 rounds due to brass shortage and unable to locate any. 95gr Nosler Ballistic Tips work very well in the 6mm. IMR 4350 powder.

Tumbled cases for 3 hrs, cleaned, sized, trimmed, chamfered, primed, powdered, seated, boxed!

Got any 7x57, I personally have never done that conversion but it looks pretty straight forward and just going down .03937 in neck diameter, I would expect that you wouldn't have to neck turn.

I've never loaded 6mm, but I think I was gifted a bag of brass a while ago. Maybe I need to find a rifle to go with the brass, I've done sillier things[smilie=1:

7X57 is a fantastic sporting caliber in a modern rifle.

I began cleaning up the shop and getting things where they belong, I got as far as the .30 jacketed rifle bullets, and hoping I don't find more! I didn't get to my stash of .30 cast rifle boolits, but I don't think I need to cast any this winter by the look of the shelf they're on. That's just the sized and lubed boolits ready to load, there's several cigar boxes of unsized .30's under the bench.

From the photo, it looks like it was oversized to compensated for the off-center:groner:

Reminds me of hornady brass. A few years ago I found quite a few in a batch with odd, small or off center flash holes. Maybe their primer hole employee changed employers...

I'm working through a couple of thousand cases and have found quite a few more of these Aguila shells. Most are off center (by varying degrees) and yes, they are all oversize holes. Oh well, guess the recycle bucket needs to be fed too.

My Wife and I just finished a major clean-up and reorganization in the storeroom. How does this fit "what did you do in the loading room)? Well, the storeroom is next to my loading room and is where I store my Ammo, Brass stash and cast bullets. We worked an hour or so each day over 4 days. I hauled a load of junk off to the county dumpster and have a load of better junk to take to the auction house downtown.

Right now, all of my brass is sorted by caliber and headstamp and resides in Folgers coffee cans. Marked with a sharpie. The straight walled brass is all resized, deprimed and tumbled. The bottleneck brass is all deprimed and tumbled. Except for the tub of range brass that I picked up this year. I saved that for something to do in the Winter after hunting season.

Loaded 3 boxes of 20 gauge skeet loads, emptied the polisher, those 38 specials sure do shine. Forgot them in the polisher for the last three nights. The polisher is on a timer that runs at night while I'm snoring. But they be shiny!

Took a Remington 511 to the gunsmith after that to be re-blued. Have the stock almost finished, another half dozen coats of finish and it will look better than new. Have 8 on it now.

Trying this gunsmith out on the old Remington that I got in a trade for an RCBS Lubrisizer.

If he does a good job, he'll get the Winchester model 74. I got that one in trade for a porta-potty ~40 years ago. The prior owner had screwed it up in a moron attempt to refinish it, I got it in pieces, put it back together and have been shooting it ever since.

A year after I got the rifle, he introduces me to his sister, who I married 2 years later. 37 years after that it's time to refinish it properly so I can give it to my daughter. The Winchester 74's original owner was my wife's father.

My daughter gets this rifle that was her grandfather's rifle on her mother's side, she's already inherited a nice walnut stocked 10/22 that was my dad's. Yea, she's pretty spoiled.

Then as a bonus, stopped at a motorcycle shop and found a helmet that I both liked and it fit. Usually a search for a helmet can be a year long ordeal. And ice is coming:drinks:

And the brother-in-law is still a moron. If you handed him the same rifle today, he'd probably booger it up just as badly as he did 40 years ago.

Set my 2 teenage boys on around 5000 5.56 and 3500 9mm brass. They sure like to shoot them, time for them to figure out the reusing part!! I gave them an order of events - they have them tumbling now (they have a football game to win tonight), then depriming, swaging the primer pockets, and resizing.
I told them that I would join the venture after 100 are done. Hoping that they've paid attention when helping over the years!!!!

Short story-Don't use oil on a powder measure. Screw was hard to put back in last reloading session. Oiled 1 drop of BF CLP. 2 days later, went to load 44 with 296. Powder drops under weight. Found the problem. Use Isopropyl Alcohol 91% to clean. It will remove graphite deposits also.https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?media/almost-kaboom-44-magnum.4153/full

Setting up to reload some 300 Win Mag using my home swaged 175 Grain .308 Copper Jacketed bullets. Focus will be on developing loads using WC872 (formerly 20mm Vulcan Powder). Objective is to develop effective loads - as near to factory velocities as possible (maybe including a touch of duplexing if required). Once I am satisfied; then this load data will be used to extrapolate some loads for a friend who has a new 300 Norma Magnum and is interested if we can make WC872 work effectively in that round - his goal is to reload for the 300 Norma Magnum cheaper than the Vihtavuori 570 powder we previously selected - besides the Vihtavuori 570 powder is currently as scarce as hen's teeth.

To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement!
However, I did not have the Chronograph with me, so have no idea at all about the velocity, it is shooting POA at 100 yards however.
Trying too find data for this old round is harder than looking for a needle in a haystack, but hope springs eternal!

Deprimed and sized a bunch of 9mm. For some reason, every 20 cases or so, the small pistol primers will stick to the end of the decapping pin and partly reinsert in the brass on the upstroke locking the cartridge into the shell holder. Another cycle clears it. Never had it happen with large primers. The pin has a ball end, maybe another shape would be better?

Mal Paso, very common thing called primer pull back, PITA when it happens on a progressive press. Most have found grinding/filing the tip of the decapping pin to the shape of a chisel solves the problem.

Have experienced that issue when loading spp .45acp brass. You have to be conscious that if you operate the handle again you will dump a second powder dump into the case at station 2. Not good. When I get a primer that pulls back I will remove the still primed case, advance the star [550b], put a bullet on the charged case and redo the stubborn case. The second attempt usually knocks the primer out. Be careful out there.

I tried to find the rest of my 470 NE brass.

Looking for them over and over again, I knew I put them in a safe place some weeks ago after tumbling them.

I also checked every other room everywhere, i have casting / reloading stuff a little bit all over the house.

I loaded a bunch, couldn"t sleep , where is that brass,? It was 4 AM and when I sort of stopped looking but still went back to the reloading room, I noticed this black cardboard box on the table just behind my chair, three feet from my main press. A black box? Yes,the brass was in that black cardboard box that I got from my friend but forgot.

I had been unconsciously looking for a clear or white plastic box that I usually store tumbled brass in. That black box had been sitting in the middle of the room, visible, during all my half a dozen searches during many hours.

That brass, dies, some ammo and misc tools originally came in a wooden box. Stuff got separated and the black box had just disappeared from my memory. Now thinking, I never store anything in black boxes, bullets, brass whatever. Never.

Brain can play funny tricks on us. Or is it that I'm 58?

I'm new to 45 ACP loading - got my first 1911 about 2 months ago... So I've loaded and shot about 1200 rounds and today I topped off my supply for this weeks comps. Today was 100 rounds which gives me about 270. I need 72 tomorrow and 90 on Saturday. So, Friday I should load another 100 just to be ahead of the curve...
Fortunately, this month's 2nd Saturday match is a high power/big bore match, so it'll be 44 mag. The third Saturday, however, is gonna need more 45 acp.

Well, I managed to cast around 160 Lee 38 acp bullets with the Lee TL-356-95-RF 90672. Geeze that is slow going with a ten pound pot. It took a very long time for three batches of 10# to melt.

I sold my Master Caster before I left Commiefornia. Am trying to decide betwixt a Magma Engineering "Cast Master" vs. "Master Pot."

The Cast Master is $50 cheaper, holds 90# of molten lead and has no mold guides, holds 2x+ the amount of lead. 240v is not a problem in my shop. If I go with that, I plan to mount it on a big piece of oak or 1/4" aluminum plate, and make my own mold guides which is pretty easy to do.

I've read not so nice things about the mold guides for the Master Pot. So why spend $50 more for something you need to modify to suit your needs, that holds less than half the lead of the Cast Master?

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Since you already have a shop with 220 and your handy with making mold guides I'd opt for the cast master. I've had a master caster since 2012 and bought the base for the master pot about 3 or 4 years ago because I still hand cast a number of my large bore calibers. But, if I had not already owned a casting pot and was a hand caster I would go for the cast master.

Today was my first time using an iron mold. It was an old 2 cavity Lyman 358432. Once it heated up it worked fantastic!

Got it for free from a friend who wanted it to go to a good home. I took it home, scrubbed all the rust off, and got it back to working order. I say this about the 358432 but he gave me 3 more I had to clean up as well.

Today, yesterday and the two days previous to that, I've been laying a vinyl floor in what will become my reloading room. It was built with a 1" OSB floor that I tried to paint but it didn't make me happy. I found 400 sq. ft. of used "luxury" vinyl flooring on a social media site for $200. I also bought seriously upgraded kneepads after the first two days which really sped up the work and reduced the agony. I hope to finish in one more session. The ceiling comes to the floor because that's the only way I could squeeze a reloading room in above the new workshop. I accept no responsibility for the sheetrock work. I paid good money for that disaster.

291931
The first few courses had to be assembled and then slid back where there was no access to work. That was "fun"!

291932
Flooring slid back and a little more progress made.

291933
Last night, much more progress made with better knee pads. One of my reloading benches from the last house was assembled so I could have a workbench. Later today, everything that's on the left on painted OSB will be moved over to the floored side and I should be able to finish fairly quickly for an old guy. Someone offered to install the floor for me for only $500 but I'm satisfied that it's plenty good for my purposes and I still have the $500 less good kneepads.

Finished up with the last 50-44 Magnum. Used 320gr cast for that.
Also realized that tumbling 25 and 30 Remington cases together is a bit of a mistake, seperating them meant reading each headstamp. Lots of fun!!

Sized a batch of boolits for both the 50-70 and 458's for either 458 Win Mag or 450 N.E..

Loaded 100 50-70's, setup the press and powder measure for the 458. Heat cycled the new 50-70 mold so it's ready to cast.

Even cleaned up a part(small) of the bench.

Took the old oven and other scrap to the scrap yard. $23 in beer money:drinks:

Swapped tall tales with the old guys at gun club #2 for several hours.

And got both the flu and the first shingles shot.

Brass or boolits recovered from the range? There are sorters that work fairly well and aren’t too pricey for the first. Hand sorting hardcast from jacketed is the only option I know for the second.

The last month I've been casting and PC'ing for and loading .40's, 10's, .357 Sig, .38 Super, and 9x25's, and I am adding some high up storage for less used stuff.

Here's to another round of pigeon hunting with the Steven's!

As an aside, I marked many of these Starline 5 in 1 cases on initial loading. I am currently on the 4th loading of that brass with no signs of failure. Been using a lee deluxe quick trimmer to cut .45 Schofield brass down to .45 cowboy special brass. A very clever tool, works well. I am using a .455 trim die, a couple of washers and a hacksaw to get closer to the correct length before trimming them. I want to use them in my RNWMP Colt NS that has been altered to 45acp. Weird the way it was done as a 1917 .45acp ejector star was fitted to the cylinder which moved the cylinder forward and then the front of the cylinder was trimmed a hair.

Dip your fiber wads that you place directly over the shot in melted pariffin. I buy Gulf brand pariffin from Wally. Then I dip a bunch of fiber wads I've cut into it using a sewing needle poked into the fiber was. That way you have a waxed fiber was over shot and then a thin cardboard wad on top of that with water glass sealing it in place.

I use to load one of my uncle's smooth bore back in the seventies but I can't remember what caliber it was. He was a reloader since the forties. I learned some of the basics from him though I never really got into reloading until the eighties. He was always having a problem with red squirrels. Don't remember having issues with shot sticking into wad but likely it was. Possibly you could go to a thicker OS card so the water glass does not soak through to the shot.

Ran them back through the gun and all 5 fired the second time. This is in a striker fired glock. I just don't have the touch (or grip) to seat them by hand I guess. The bench primer should "set them straight". It's taking out some of the primer's dome and setting them a couple thousandths below. Thought FTF was a wheel gun problem. LOL

I got "paid" for a waaay overdue bill with a box of mystery reloads that weighs around 50#. Started the boys sorting by caliber before I left for work. Hoping to start breaking them down for components this week.

Building 12 ga cas loads as I was down to my last few boxes. Trying a jug of something different: Alliant Extra Lite. Using a #408 powder bushing-3/4 oz shot bushing with a turn of blue painters tape in it to reduce the id- #9 shot and a CB 0125 pink wad. I always add a 5/8 dia overshot card punched from primer sleeve boxes. Also do a plunk test as I make them as I have a Marlin bbl hanging under the loader. Do all this on an old blue Bair/Pacific press. Built 75 this morning. They feel about the same as my Clays or Clay Dot load.

Got those done now I’m doing 2 inch 12 ga shells. 25 done, 50 to go.

I cast with two alternating two cavity moulds. My oldest and newest Lees; 358 150grSWC and 401 175gr TCTL. The new one works fine, I hope it lasts like the oldest one has.
I shaked and baked them burnt orange.

Not really in the loading room but loading related!
The oldest Grandson and I moved 750-800 pounds of lead ingots from one side of the shop to the other. They had been sitting out in the floor since our last smelting session and needing to be stamped and moved to the corner with the rest of the stash. So we stamped WW on the wheelweights and PB on the soft lead and got it moved.

I have been planning and studying and getting ready to cast my first boolit. Seem like a good place to start was to slug my barrels of intended use. So using the idea I found somewhere of pouring soft lead sinkers into spent brass and using that plug for slugging the barrel. Seems to work really good learned a few things along the way, like they come out pretty close to the size of the boar so I squeezed him in the vise just a tiny bit to get them up about 10,000s over. Now that I have the size of the three pistols I intend to use for lead someday I’m thinking that I need to go at least one probably 2000s over. My 10 mm being .401 and.4015 I’m thinking I need to go to .402 and.403 and wondering how I’m gonna find a mold and size to that diameter. If you have suggestions please pm or link me to a thread thanks.

Ordered some once fired brass a couple weeks ago an unfortunately lots had crimped primers. I've always stayed sway from crimped primers in the past but with everything so hard to find today that sometimes you have to go with the flow. Anyways time to buy a primer pocket swager. Trip down to Sportsman's fixed me up with a new RCBS primer pocket swager. Considering it was my first try everything went fine, meaning I didn't break anything. I swaged 100 pcs of 7.62x39 and 200 pcs of
223/5.56. Then I popped all the primers plus another 100 pcs of 9mm. Tomorrow all go into the S/S pin tumbler. Then they'll be sized, trimmed and deburred an ready to be reloaded.

I gave up! I tried to clean some 30-30 brass with citric acid and then tumbling with dry media. Finally ordered a FART to go with the pins I already had. C'mon Midway. After yrs of shooting nasty looking ammo, I enjoy the super clean look of wet tumbled brass. I guess I am sort of like a raccoon, if it shines, I like it. Must be why the black wheels on new cars and trucks turns me off!

Put two more coats of finish on both Winchester Model 67 and a Model 74 stock. Got 10 on now, maybe done in another half dozen.

Polished a small batch of 280 Ross brass, annealed a different batch of 280 Ross brass.

Primed 40 pieces of 300 H&H.

Continued the epic journey of the 1968 Savage 243 I picked up last month. I'm guessing that the original owner(s) had never heard of copper fouling. Day #4 of blue patches coming out. And even with all that, for a whippy light barrel rifle with stiff trigger, it turned in ~1-1/8" group on Sunday. Get the barrel clean and a load worked up, I may have a shooter here. Bought the thing for $250 bucks just to get the action. I wasn't even going to shoot it. Just pull the barrel, stock and scope off and pedal that stuff, then buy new stuff. Someone had cut the stock down dramatically. Like rip you eye out on the scope kind of cut down if you are over 4'8" tall.

Bought a $24 semi-inlet stock from Numrich. Turns out it was left over factory stock NICE walnut. Like the nicest Savage stock I have seen in my life. Fitted and finished the stock put a real scope on it and gave it a try. Glad I did.

The group was mostly vertical, almost no horizontal. Should be able to tune a load to reduce the vertical.

Deconstructed around 750 rounds of 40 S&W rounds. They were part of a deal for a Springfield 40 and a Hi Point carbine deal. All were unknown handloads. My sons pointed out that powder charges seemed VERY inconsistent so we weighed a few dozen. +/- 25% powder charge discrepancy by weight.
Looking forward to getting the dies we ordered today to start loading and shooting these critters!

Measuring and cutting plywood for my Christmas break reloading bench project. Lots of cuts to make. Coincidentally, the plans I'm using are for the same bench featured in this reloading room writeup, which has a nice picture of the bench: https://www.lee-loader.com/viewtopic.php?t=24. Plans have been sitting on the shelf for a few months waiting for me.

Loaded up some basic 38 Special with the Lyman RNL cast bullets atop 3.7gr of HP-38. It sure is fun to load up these classic bullets without all the worries of specialty ammo or wildcat ammo or other minutia. Just clean em, resize em, prime em, charge em, and seat/crimp em. What a treat.

Shot the Uberti Richards/Mason Colt 1851 Conversion today so needed to load up more 38 Special.

I spent a little time when I could over a few days to load 120 rounds of 9mm Luger using 4 grs of AA#2 and 135 gr MP RN. Pleasant to shoot and functions the Hi-point perfectly.

Hopefully going to spend some time with the cast bullets (and mould) to reload 40 S&W in the primed brass my sons made. I really need the therapy after this day.

Aside:. Mould from a member, loads from a member, sizing dies arrived:
COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED from a member.
This pay it forward thing has basically determined my sanity so far this year!!!!

Continuing my garage cleanup after 12 years of demon sloth. I found two coffee cans of lead .45 bullets with wax lube on them, AND a box of 1000 .40 cal lubed bullets. I "think" my dad must have bought them before he passed away a few years ago.

On one hand I want to use them up, smoke filled lungs and all... OTOH, I want to strip off the lube and PC them. Then there's the possibility of selling them.

I also received an old Hornady Pro-jector today, set it up and despite it not having all of the priming bits and bobs, it's a tank and makes pre primed 9x25 ammo FAST and forms cases PDQ also. Too bad Hornady doesn't have parts. But that's what you get for not buying Dillon. Years ago I setup a frustrated friends Pro-jector machine and he ran it with one caliber for many years. I loved using it but back then my 4 station Dillon 450 and 550's served my needs.

Who'd have thought I'd be making 9x25 and would need that fifth station? I'd have bought one back then when parts were available :-)

Mixed up a quart of HiTek. I gotta lot of boolits to coat. I make it half strength to get a prolonged shake with better coverage. Should be able to do about 15K. Black Cherry and Kryptonite Green. Maybe I’ll try mixing colors for some boolits; got a couple more colors to play with.

Thanks, Popper. Powder is slowly coming back, I’ll look for that. I’m feeding two Shield 9s as well so that’s a good tip.
Times being what they are, I’m going to have to work up some .38 Special and .40 S&W loads with magnum small pistol and perhaps small rifle primers. Just a few test rounds to see what’s what.
