Good Day to Join CastBoolits!

Had to drive across town today to drop off a radiator from my old jalopy. Don't normally drive 40 miles to a shop but it was a friends place and he does good work. Anyway, was trying to figure out how to kill a few hours while he did the repair and remembered the new (well not that new) Cabelas on his side of town.

What a way to spend idle time! got all the hunting/hobby gear I need or at least thought so. So started in the gun museum then the boat section,camping, clothing, cooking, a stop for lunch, followed by archery (bought some stuff for a grandkid), knives and finally G&A!

Boy was that a lot of EYE CANDY and got me thinking, better get the back into casting! And thus reason for joining this site. Been quite a while. Me and a buddy got into BPCR, 45-70's and 45-90's about 15 years ago. Once we got all the gear were both casting our own but always in the fall or spring, garage just too hot in the summer here in Phoenix... Then one year, we missed the good weather and used the excuse, "well its too hot this summer" and so it went for several years...

Maybe this site will be motivational, always enjoyed the forums etc.

Be careful when I joined I did a survey that asked how many moulds do you have? I answered three. I counted up a couple days ago and I now have 18. I've only been a member since 2/13. Have fun and welcome

You really have 2 choices at this point, smart money says to run screaming from this place. It is an addiction, you will not save money, but you will have lots of fun/misery/excitement/dissapointment. You will shoot more for the same amount of money but chances are you will spend lots of money on the works of art/traps that our custom mold makers produce.
