358429 HP or 358627 Looking to buy

The 358429 with a HP had it's own number in the Lyman scheme. It was known as the 358439. You could also have one of the member cut the 429 for a HP and fit a spud.

As for not being able to post in the classifieds, you need to generate a certain number of posts for that privilege.

There was a 358429 Hp as well as the 358439. i believe the 429 hp had a slightly lesser depth & diameter hole as it was listed as weighing 6-8 gr heavier. Gianni

ZEUS, over at singleactions.com. sold a 358627 clone group buy mould with handles for $60 yesterday. It moved real quick!

I'd start watching that web site...it has some high end customizers on it and they will sell stuff they no longer want at some bargain prices....Old Model Ruger DRAGOON grip frame for $75; HUNTER grip frame NIB for $125.

EBay still has moulds...and some of the other web sites also. Another place is Cliffsgunsmithing....he has a lot of discontinued and limited stuff at good prices. Someone here will find something for you...make sure your registration is complete and check your PMs, etc.

The 358429HP drops about 160gr where the 358439 drops about 154, I like heavy bullets. :-D

These moulds go high on E-bay, too high in my opinion. The best way to get a HP 358429 is to buy a nice solid version, and send it to Buckshot here on the forum for the HP treatment. His work is top notch, and you will end up money ahead in the long run.
