I have a friend that was new to reloading, he is giving up the hobby due to health and ask me to sell a few things for him, here is a pic of some 7mm-08 brass that he must have had way too much lube on.
There is 80 pieces and I'm guessing that 75% of it has the shoulders dimpled to varying degrees, should I try to sell this or toss it in the scrap bucket? I have shot my own reloaded brass that had dimpled shoulders with no ill effects but this about selling brass to someone else with a clear conscience.

Dents will come right out when they are fired. No problem. Disclose dents, sell with a clear conscience.

I agree with dudel. Lube dents will iron out on firing. Just let it be known on listing.:swagemine:

Yup. Call it what it is, make sure the buyer knows exactly what they're getting. I have fired lots of dented rounds from when I started reloading, all the result of too much lube. I learned... and hardly ever dent one now.

Maybe the 7mm-08 FL sizer disgusted him and made him give it up.
I know the 7mm-08 that I had was by far the worst shoulder denting combo that I ever saw.

Thanks for the input, I also ran across another bag with 14 pieces of 7mm-08 headstamped brass that have me stumped.
They say 7mm-08, are .308 Win length but the case neck inside diameter is .321-.322. Maybe someone's attempt at an 8mm-08?

BTW, what would be a fair price per piece to ask for the 7mm-08 brass?

No, he had an aneurysm that messes with his balance and also now he doesn't move real proficient.

Sorry to hear it when medical issues come between a man and his toys. In my own medical near death experience (stage four cancer thankfully in remission) One of the weird thoughts to go through my mind was, Im really goin to miss my reloading stuff. LOL GP

Ask him about those case's.

He picked them up from a gun shop when he got his dies and bullets.
