Ken........

You may find a #5 coolwhip bowl and black airsoft plstic BB's (BBDT)are a better route than using your brass tumbler. I can coat up to 100 boolits in less than a minute with the BBDT method. You will still have to pick them up and sit them on NSAF racks with the brass tumbler. And BBDT gives you a bit of upper body exercise!!!!!!!

Leave you tumbler for what it was built for......cleaning your brass. I tried it and it now does only brass.

You will like Smokes powder.

Welcome to the PC madness!

I have several sets of straight and curved and the curved ones allow you to get at the necessary angles to easily pick up your boolits. The straight ones,in my book, are much harder to position and use.

Get one of each!!!!! They are dirt cheap. I also use them for heatsinks when soldering semiconductior leads.

There are always people selling these at gun shows around me.

Smokes powder, Blue Nitrile examination glove and parchment paper works great for me.

I think if you are in a dry enough climate a tumbler works well. I use a tumbler and can't tell the difference between that and a cool whip tub. I also haven't been able to tell any difference using the air soft bb's ether so I don't use them. I guess living in the desert has advantages

I always have an issue after I get them out of the bb's when I am placing them on the baking pan. If you have the bullet at an angle with the curved hemostats it is tough to get them to stand up unless your wrists are double jointed! I constantly have to turn my mix to get the bullets in an orientation that is suitable for the hemostats. Not a major issue, just annoying. I will pick up some straight ones and see how they work.
