View Full Version : Hollywood Monster Behemoth Workstation

Well MDphotographer out did himself and built me a monolithic workstation in pure Hollywood fashion - Big, Heavy, and Beefy!

I had asked for a simple stand similar to the Dillon, but he insisted on "going Hollywood!"

If you have extra turret heads, which MDphotographer makes, and you're tired of digging in boxes looking for primer posts, powder measure spouts, dies, - now where did I put that darn swage bar, etc., this workstion is the nuts!

The bottom round plate swivels on ball bearings, but not too easy. Note the Hollywood turret handles on the swivel plate and Hollywood crinkle paint. The top cap is even a copy of a Senior Turret top cap.

Don't have 3 turret heads? No problem, this is an expandable unit. Just slide the top cap off and one of the center posts and make it double. Or remove two center posts and make it a single.

Is it stable? The base plate and swivel plate combined are over 50 pounds. It has bolt holes in the base plate if anchoring is desired.

This is one slick unit and pure Hollywood all the way!

Thanks MDphotographer!

Hi,
Ha! you got that right! I found 2 Texan Progressives on other sites (asked here but no luck) at a VERY good price. one even came with a extra set of dies and shell holders and 60 extra shot and powder bushings!

That makes 5 that I have all together, they are just fun to rebuild and get running again! Dave and I will have to split the cost on that 10 Step Addict Program, I guess!:shock:

Think you should make a you tube vid of yourself using that beautiful monster in fashion !

Haha, if I knew how to do a YouTube video it wouldn't be much of one. This workstation is more of a storage center. The video would lack activity.

Lubedude;

Your workstation storage center looks pretty good, I wonder if there is a commerical aspect to making storage platforms for other reloaders to store their tooling like your workstation?

HGS, By all means yes!

Contact MD Photographer, or I can have him pm you, he will make you one anyway you wish!
