Went to barnes and noble today for a coffee and see what kind of woodworking books I could spend my 30% coupon on. Found one I didn't have. So far so good. Decided since lotus gunworks is just up the street I'll stop in and see if they have the powder I need. Answer, no. They did have red dot, but I have almost a full pound of that. Wife asks about the deal they were having on stripped lower recievers I mentioned from the black friday add. Hmm that should be in this case....Ah.. they have one left. 55 dollars. I'll take it. You were lucky there was only two left.. Two? I'll take the other one too. :D :D :D So two stripped lowers for 125.00 out the door. :Dhttp://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn276/blademasterii/Facebook/Mobile%20Uploads/1377292_10152960554418060_1440084185847662349_n.jp g (http://s306.photobucket.com/user/blademasterii/media/Facebook/Mobile%20Uploads/1377292_10152960554418060_1440084185847662349_n.jp g.html)

It was nice of your wife to remind you.

Yea, it was. Especially since she isn't into guns. I would kind of like to build either a 6.5 grendell to go with my beowulf, or a .17 or maybe .22 upper. Threaded of course so I can use the suppressor. :D .223 pistol would be nice too. Would love a 9mm or .45 ar. 9MM and I can use the same can. :D

A year and a half ago I paid 130 for ONE! Ughh. I wish I had a second one to play with calibers and better trigger and other hardware. Good deal for sure! And even seeing Red Dot must be a nice feeling.

Get em now while you can. You did just fine. Those lowers are going for around $40, but by the time you add shipping and FFL fees, you're doing just fine on those prices. I bought 3 Anderson lowers a few weeks ago. I'll probably go buy a few more. Last I checked, they weren't getting cheaper and anodized aluminum doesn't go bad in the back of the gun safe.

Anderson also has a good reputation. You've done well. Keep your wife too. Make sure you allow her to get whatever she wanted within reason for her hobbies. Makes the next purchase easier on you for your gun stuff.....
