Uh, yeah. Plastic collars. One time use. That's the Ticket!
Another genius idea with no practical application. The 357 auto mag, only for revolvers!

Well, they are cheap. Myself, I'll stick with the 357/44 Bain & Davis. Nice blast from the past, the Bobcat should be comparable with the B&D. Hopefully the loadings are comparable between the two.

Not sure of the actual chambering, if the chambers are straight throu .429 or if they have a short .357 mouth.

Why not put the plastic ring inside the case? Or just use a sabot?

25gr of H110 under a 357 Mag bullet...That would be a screamer I think. With cast you'd have to use a gas check maybe

Or just use a sabot?

Possible. At the time, I don't recall sabots being very widespread. My dim memories come up with the Remington "Accelerators" as the first mass saboted, commercial round. Other than muzzle loader sabots, who uses them?

Actually, I have a TC 357/B&D barrel for my TC-G2 and a 357 AMP barrel rebored by SSK.
Have not had a lot of time to play but 23gr 296 with 140gr j-bullet. In my 357 AMP, I drop to 21.5 gr.
All three set ups with burn a one inch hole at 45 yards.
Hope to chrono all this year.
