In a few hours, I'll be out for a Thanksgiving meal. Too bad I can't take Belle, but there will be two dogs, plus relatives there. Mom made up some smaller pumpkin pies (in graham cracker crusts) and some squash as well.

Since I'm driving, I won't be able to drink much at all. More coffee!

Here's giving an absolution to all, today is calorie free! Eat up!

Some old Indian is reputed to have said---"Only a white man would cut a foot off a perfectly good blanket and sew it onto the bottom to get a longer blanket!"

IMHO, there is no benefit to diddling with time.

Turkey digesting, stuffed with pie, drinking more beer tonight than I should but what the heck I only drink it on holidays typically.

Well, I tried a small cup of mulled wine. In retrospect, cutting out the middleman and drinking the wine by itself would have been better. Turkey was very good, fresh cranberry sauce was excellent. Mashed potatoes not bad at all. Left early as I dislike driving on ice even more when it is dark outside.
