Cabelas has their Stack-On reloading bench (http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1172292&type=product&MDK=dynbanP_SL&MDC=cat104761080&WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcat104761080) on sale with free regular shipping. You still have to pay for the oversize shipping charge though.

That'll prolly work, but seems a bit light (only holds 300 lbs.). If you can only load the top with 300 lbs, the rest of the bench would be kinda flimsy, IMO. At 3 1/2 ft. long it would work in a limited space, but I'd buy $100.00 worth of 2x4s and hardware and slap one together as large as space allows, and it would easily hold 1/2 ton...

But thanks for the link.

I bought one similar to that at the local hardware store for $180. It was a little wider, has 2 drawers and a metal sheeting on the top wrapped around the edges. It is very sturdy and holds more than 300lbs just fine. I thought I was going to have to secure it to the wall, but it just does not move at all.

I agree that sturdier and more custom can be built for a bit less. But this seemed to fit the bill for someone without the time or inclination to build something from scratch, small space, has one offset drawer (convenient for mounting a press) and holds up to 250# on the lower shelves plus 300# on the top.

I ordered one and it should arrive in a week or so. I'll update if there's anything worth updating about.
