My Daughter gave birth last night to a 6 lb 14 oz girl. 10 fingers and toes and a voice that works. I won't buy her any guns as I don't trust her dad not to pawn them but she can shoot mine. Gianni

Congratulations!. :drinks:

I have two daughters. I have been dithering on the purchase of my first 45/70. I have promised myself that if I haven't run across any great deals before then I will order a Shiloh Sharps on the announcement of my first grandson. I have 12 to 15 years before that happens (I hope).

Great news!

I've been a grampa to boys for 12 years, but the little girl that arrived two years ago really stole my heart.

................Lucky dog. I just may have to content myself with neices and nephews. My daughter and her husband are just having too much fun right now and they realize what a load of responsibility a child can be. Course, that doesn't do me any good but I keep my mouth shut. Don't want them having any just to please their parents (his are after them to have one).

I once knew a lady that had a T shirt that had on it "IF I HAD KNOWN THAT GRANDKIDS WERE SUCH FUN. I WOULD HAVE HAD THEM FIRST". You'll soon learn just that.

My 38 year old daughter hunts and i hope some of my 6 granddaughters will to. Youngest is 2 1/2. One grandson (6) goes to the range and loves it.

Big congratulations from me. :drinks: There is something about those little grandchildren that makes us misty eyed. I suppose it is the fact that we wish we had done a better job with our children but when they give us grandchildren I suppose we did alright after all eh?

CONGRATS MTgianni:
I have 2 granddaughters and 2 greatgrandsuns, the best thing about
grandchildren is that you can spoil them and send them home to their parents
Ha!Ha!
enjoy your grandchild.

Congratulations, Gianni. Soon you will be spoiling your grand daughter and taking her side in disciplinary conflicts with her parents.

Being a grandpa is the best job in the whole world.
Enjoy'em and spoil'em rotten, THEN SEND THEM HOME. It's a grandparents revenge:-D
In all seriousness, they are great.

Congratulations, enjoy your grandaughter, mine is 23 and she has been a joy for every one of those years. In the early years she was beginning to show some intrest in guns but her mom sort of headed her in a different direction. She dosent opose guns now but she dont have much interest either. I am hoping that will change one of these days but if it dont---to each her own.
