Couple of options; GC is 106 gr. as cast & PB is 103 gr. as cast.

Do you know if this design will work in .32 Mag revolvers using standard length brass ?

Right now it would give an OAL of 0.028" over the maximum stated cartridge length for the 32 Mag (1.350"). It would fit in the Ruger single sixes, but others I don't know about.

1.350" would be an easy fit in my S&W Model 16-4.

I was hoping for a bit more bullet weight....closer to a 120 or better....Could we add a series of crimp grooves to it? I think someone a bit back posted a NEI or other design that was about 120 grains or better that hadda be a good bullet...still, that one above is sexy for sure!

Couple of heavier versions, about 120 gr. ready to load which meet the 1.350" OAL requirement for the 32 Magnum.

I like both of the plain base designs but lean towards the heavier bullet.

That larger GC design looks like something I might be able to use in either the 30 carbine or 7.62X39?

The 103/106 gr. design would work for me but the 120 gr. looks great, too. Guess I'd be in for either weight with or w/o a gas check .

The max length for my H & R 586 is 1.345". Any boolit movement after that & I'd have em sticking out the end of the cylinder!

A friend of mine has a Ruger Single Six in .22 mag./.22 LR and the cylinder for that thing is beefier than the H & R!. Now I see why they made .32 magnum's out of them.

The Ruger Blackhawk will take about any length you could come up with.

That boolit looks a bit like the RCBS 32-98. I already have 2-122+gr. molds and they are real good in either .32 magnum or .32-20. Neither one has a gas check & they shoot just fine. For that matter, the RCBS 32-98 is a hard one to beat also.

Since I live in California, I think I am approaching the legal limit for .32 moulds though. I would buy one of those 120 grainers without the gas check anyway.

45 2.1, Many thanks for the drawings! I would love to do this bullet in both plain base and GC versions!

Will this end up as 4-cavity mold with all cavities different? Does any one know what is maximum length for S&W mod 16?
