Single shot 45 acp. Only know that the gentleman I got froms grandfather was a gunsmith. Looks like a blank was turned down and fitted into the shotgun barrel stub. I believe it was a 410 originally and the extractor and ejecter were reworked to fit and eject the 45 round. Has adjustable Williams slights and a hand made fore arm. Lock up is nice and tight. Hope to test it out this weekend.

Congrats on your find! That looks like it will be a fun rifle to shoot - let us now how well it sends lead downrange!

An interesting conversion - Those Savage Model 94 actions were essentially the hammer version of the Savage 219 single-shot rifle (available in .30-30), so it's plenty strong enough for the .45ACP.

Very glad to hear that,not that 45 acp is a pressure monster. Might need to break down and buy a chrony.
