I’ve been doing some reduced-load shooting recently as I really have never done that before—it is quite enjoyable and many of the reloads are very accurate…
I have been reading a bit about SASS stuff—Cowboy Action and I am interested in a boolit for the 45 Colt…
I searched this site and found some interesting stuff and it appears many use the 200-230 grain boolits in the 45 Colt…
I am NOT planning on shooting Cowboy Action, but just shooting a light boolit with small charges of fast burners…
Lee makes a boolit--
Lee Precision Tl452-230-2R Double Cavity Mold (http://www.amazon.com/Lee-Precision-Tl452-230-2R-Double-Cavity/dp/B001GX6HMU/ref=sr_1_6?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1416151452&sr=1-6&keywords=bullet+molds)
I was hoping for a bit lighter boolit, but I want the round-nose profile…
For the price, I have had pretty good luck with some of the Lee molds—especially if I just want to try a different boolit. I mostly have Lyman and RCBS steel molds though…
Anyone shoot that Lee boolit? I want to shoot it from a Blackhawk, just for something to do—sort of!!!...
Thanks…BCB
