Fellow CB member JOKEN got his elk this morning. 100 yard shot with peep sights on a Remington 700 50 caliber muzzle loader.

Good job there buddy! I hope to have as much success as you in the coming days. The west side is more like combat hunting with intense hiking.

EK, would you share the info on Joken's 700ML , I notice the SS action and a Blued or Parkerized barrel. I never saw that option from the factory.

JOKEN wasn't happy with the way his rifle shot when he got it, I believe it was used, so he found another barrel and installed it, hence the two tone, and then camouflaged the stock. I think he's happy with it now.
