Has anyone lubed and sized a Lee TL boolit in a Lyman 450? If so, how did it work? I have read of people tumble lubing regular boolits, but have not seen anything on the other way around.
It should work just fine.

Yes.
You are however defeating the purpose of tumble lube. I often do it the other way. Tumble lubing conventional lube groove boolits.

I've done it quite a bit, and it works fine unless you are sizing down enough to reduce the tiny TL grooves too much.

I run my Ranch Dog .411 265 grn. rnfp boolits through my 450. I use NRA 50/50 lube. It works best if I lube on a warm day, to get the lube into the micro-grooves.

I don't actually size my TL boolits. I smear Felix in the grooves and run through a Lee die to just remove excess lube. Much more accurate.

I size and lube ranch dog. 432-265 boolits with Ben's red in a 450 using a 0.432 die. Barely sizes the boolit and fills the tumble lube grooves well.

I bump my Lee 314-90 SWC TL bullet down to .314 and grease it up a little while doing it. I also tumble lube after I am done. Sounds crazy right?
