I've been collecting Hollywood swaging dies for a while now and have ended up with several incomplete sets. I would like to swage 7mm bullets, and have the swage body die, but no upper die that forms the ogive. What do you think about using the 7mm body die with a 270 upper die? The parting line is just aft of the beginning of the ogive so I'm thinking the step at the ogive might not be a problem. Hollywood ejects the bullet from the lower body die, so I'm hoping this might work. Anyone ever try this? Any thoughts?
