Awesome article. It mentioned
From 15.43 grains or one gram charge of Bullseye it is possible to get ca. 1670 Joules as a kinetic energy of payload -- bullet or shot charge.

Fact check:
1670 Joules = 1231 ft-lbs. That would send a 100 grain bullet 2355 fps out of a rifle. Quickload says 15.43g Bullseye would send the 113g Lee soupcan bullet 2318 fps out of a 24" barrel. Pretty good estimations.

An excellent article. All of us Americans should read it to appreciate the freedom we have and not take for granted the resources we have available to us compared to other countries. Yes, powder is hard to come by right now, but read this article and see how difficult it was for the folks in Finland to load between the wars and even up to now.

Well after Mouse farts started attracting the cats... the smell was so bad it made the Cat Sneeze.! Hence the term:shock:

Baron, I am loading my version of sick cat loads these days, mostly in a .30-30 and a .25-20. I found some Lyman 257420 bullets nicely made and gathering dust in my locker. With just a dash of Bullseye they are more of a snort than sneeze. They seem to shoot well in my near century old Model 94. The .30-30 uses a Lyman 311041 with loads down to 2.7 grains so far. It runs at 725 fps and sounds about like a SV .22 LR. 2.3 grains is in the wings, optimism runs amok.
