using a few dies loaders have on hand you can make your own j-words. This is how we do it at least.

Very interesting and they look pretty good, I may try and do some for my 458 WM. I have made these for my 375 Whelen using 9mm brass. One thing you may find helpful is to fit your press into the bench tightly below the mounting bolts as I have done, this takes a lot of the flex out of the operation and gives a better feel I find.

Excellent video. What did you use for the punch?

The punch was the one that comes with the sizing die kit.

Very nice!!!!

The way I make 45 bullets is very similar to your methods. The only real difference between what you're doing and what I do is:
The 44 expander
Seating the core

Instead of flaring the mouth of the 40s&w case I run the expander ball the fl (full length/depth) of the 40s&w case. That expands the s&w case's body to around .448". Then I simply drop in a cast bullet (core) and swage the whole thing into a bullet. No core seating involved, the final swaging will bump the bullet up to the correct diameter and seat the core at the same time.

The end result is a 45acp bullet that will have the same nose profile (ie/hollow point/penta point/solid) as the core (cast bullet being used).

Those were loaded with full house loads (P+) of power pistol.

Glad to see other people thinking outside the box. Swaging pistol bullets is way to easy compared to rifle bullets.

Thank you for posting that incredible video!!!

Forrest R, what are you using as the core? Caliber/weight?
