I have the wood grips for both guns. I ground some old rubber grips so the lanyard rings stay on both guns

Always love the gun porn. Thanks for the pics. I'll probably peruse them a couple of more times before bed tonight.

I love when you guys post pics like this, but hate the fact that I never seem to have the money to buy the things your posts make me feel like I NEED!

So when you are at the range with them, which one do you pick up first to shoot? I love that Anaconda, but I wonder, does that non-flute M25 get picked up loaded and shot first?

Since I'm cheap I made my own demooner from galvanized half inch thinwall pipe. I left a tit on one end to use as the leverage arm, and it's long enough to accept six loaded rounds with a bit of room to spare. Electrician's tape on the other end and I'm good to go. All I had to invest was a little time with a hacksaw. The pipe I found somewhere.

That's as cheap as can make a guy happy. Now......those highfalutin' Brownells totin' demooner buyers must be from the nice end of town!

Hey 35, can you post some pictures of your homemade demooner sometime? I usually shoot auto rims in my S&W model 25-2. because it's too hard to use the 1/2 moons. Yes, I know you can shoot .45 auto cartridges in the model 25 w/o 1/2 moons, but I don't like that option much either... Thanks, Tt.

endfieldphile, thanks for taking the time to share those beautiful photos with us! Now, how about some single action .45 pictures? [smilie=l:

Very nice. Now you just need to add some SAs

I only have 1 (@ the moment) SA centerfire, but it's a .44 mag, not a .45. However, it's a bit of a rare one. A fluted cylinder 7.5" barrel Bisley, one of about 2000 made in 1986

Nice guns. I've got several wheelguns and have sold a bunch more (a sw model 17 and 19 come to mind that I wish I had back) and I've had about every caliber Ruger BH made but the only one that I've kept through thick and thin is the Single Six. I carry it more in the woods than any other and I will never sell it.

Nice collection Enfield Lover.

Here are a few GI Model 1917 revolvers in 45 ACP. The original grips for the top S&W are stored. Finishes are a bit worn with patina forming on the Colt. Chambers and bores are perfect on the three as well as timing and the DA trigger pulls on the S&Ws are what new S&Ws can only dream about.

I have a Anaconda 45 6 in. and I like it. But I also have a New Service 45 Colt with a 7 1/2 barrel fix sights I like as much. The weight as to be about the same and while I would not run the same hot loads I can sometimes run in the Anaconda, it does fine with 250 grain bullets going out at 9-950 FPS. A friend has a Smith blued 25-5 with a 8 3/8 barrel that is a sweet shooter and since I am a Colt guy, I wont say I like it more but I like it as much as my Colts. That smith is very accurate with lyman's 452454 going out at about 9-950. All of these guns "ting" a 16" plate at 100 yards with ease.
