These Uberti SAA clones are extremely addictive! My Cimarron (made by Uberti) 4 3/4" .45 Colt/.45ACP goes with me on every range trip. My next one will be a 5 1/2" in .44 Special.

I have a Ruger BH in .45 Colt/.45ACP and a somewhat rare S&W Model 25 with both cylinders, but the Uberti SAA clone is just a handy, fun little gun, IMO. Tt

They exist because Boyd Davis, the owner of EMF, sent real Colts to Aldo Uberti to copy. The rest they say, is history.........

Hope this helps.

Great little video, but I had to laugh out loud when he used a wooden stick thru
the frame window when tightening the frame to the barrel. ALL gunsmithing
course caution to NEVER do this because it will damage the frame. A good
gunsmith has special blocks that fit the contours of the front of the frame to
avoid twisting the frame window --- but not the Uberti factory. . . .!!
Probably can get away with it as this is the first assembly of new parts
and gunsmiths are cracking loose the bbl after a long time for parts to
corrode together. Still - I had to laugh.

I liked the "Aligns the barrel by eye" part too.. :) I'm betting the Monday morning after the bachelor party guns are the ones that shoot a bit to the side..

Fun video though, thanks.

My friend must have a Monday morning Uberti in 357. Shoots about 6" to the left and 4" low IIRC.

Have someone else shoot your friend's revolver and see if it still shoots low and left. Some shooters squeeze their whole hand when pulling the trigger, and that will pull the muzzle down low and left for a right handed shooter. Just a thought.

Hope this helps.
