Can anyone tell me what the twist is or should be for the Remington Model 1902 7mm Cavalry Carbine?

Don't know on the twist but do know the headspace is longer on these than the current SAAMI standard. You may want to fireform some brass with the cream of wheat method before using it.
The bullet that these normally shot was around 175grs IIRC so it should stabilize any reasonable cast boolit.

Been having key holes with the 150gr Lyman 287405 bullet. Even at .293 diameter in a .288 bore. Thinkng maybe the bullet is to short. Looking to get a 287308 Lyman and see how it does.
