New bullets, still working on becoming acquainted with the mold, but I like them. This is as big as I want to go in the Freedom Arms. The bullet on the right is my 325 gr WFNGC.

One of my NOE molds is hands down my favorite 454 Casull bullet. I use these with straight water dropped COWW and carnuba red lube anywhere from 1400fps to 1800fps out of several of my 454s and they are the most accurate bullets I have ever shot out of them by far. I have several of their molds and I haven't got a bad one yet from them. They are definitely worth every penny I paid for them. This bullet is the one my 454s love:

That bullet would be perfect for my Ruger Flattop .45.

I purchased that mold to go with my soon to be purchased BFR 454. Let us know how it shoots.

How did it go after church?

I shot this doe this morning on my "B" (antlerless) tag with the NOE bullet I posted above. One shot from 50 yards literally slammed her to the deck twitching. She never moved even a smidgen after that. Easiest tracking job of my life :)

Didn't go very well, there was a young gent shooting from the middle of the forest road I take to get to where I shoot, less than a half mile from where I go shooting, oh, and he was shooting at targets about 20 feet from the center of the road. Should have turned around and headed home, but no, I figured incorrectly that he would cease and desist after I rolled by, instead I was hearing his bullets ricochet out into space, think it contributed to my lack of focus on the task at hand. I also made the mistake of not sighting these in at 25 yards, just trying to bang away at 60, only saving grace on the day was the 44 with the Lee 305, my least expensive combo, and yet it never fails to deliver excellent accuracy. So, I will cast up more this week, and attempt to get to the shooting range and check these bullets off of sandbags at 25 and 50. Going to try them in my 45 Colt as well.

Nice job on the deer! I would have bet that combo would pole ax a whitetail!

They drop at .454 and so need a significant amount of sizing.

I have no Earthly need for it but I want to try that bullet in my 4" RedHawk in .45 Colt. I too am interested in how it works out for you.
