Looks good and a great feeling. Now you have to go get more wheel weights as you can never have enough.

Really nice job. First ingots usually look like prunes!

This is like an addiction. I feel like I have to have more NOW! Where will I get my next fix?

Yesterdays were not quite as good, but usable.

Looks good! Now's the time to think about how you're going to mark the ingots to designate what they are. Just in case you have other lead alloys like scrap range lead, stick on WW or pure lead ingots around. If not, I have a feeling that sooner or later, you'll get some. Good luck on that hunt for lead! Feed the addiction!

Yodo is a wise man. Mark those for future reference.

Excellent! I started casting different stuff into different shapes. COWW are corncobs, SOWW are LEE Ingots, cores are muffins, etc...

Good Job, Man! If you think you would ever want these marked, do it now while its fresh on your mind. I have not marked mine and now I have so many that I would never get them all marked! I just keep each batch in its own milk crate and tag the crate. There are lots of good ideas on here about marking ingots.

I will probably buy some of the stamps from Harbor Freight the next time I am in Missoula, which could be a while.

That is what I did - Harbour Freight stamps. I use ROOF, SOWW, COWW, and TIN. Figure that about covers it though the COWW have not been stamped yet. I have about 800lbs of ingots of those to mark so a winter project [smilie=s:

I had to move my stash. Bottom of the barrel marked with a Sharpie 8 years ago still clearly marked. Top of the barrel good too.

I needed half of a pewter ingot the other day. Used a torch to melt half of it off; the remaining half still showed the sharpie marking denoting its weight, and showed it quite clearly right up to the melted edge. I was surprised.

I use a magic marker on all ingots for ID
