Made a hollow point mold today.

Lyman 358430

Never done this before. Learned a LOT. I will do a much better job net time.
Casts really easy and doesn't need to be super hot to make decent ones. I was in a hurry and didn't cast my best work. I just wanted to see the things. They weigh in at 187g.
Made the pin from 1018. Made the knob from Bloodwood.

Honest opinions. I ain't the best machinist ever born I know.

My old South Bend. It's ancient but works quite well!

Looks great! Let us know how they shoot!

Man, I wish I had a lathe like that. Or the room in which to use it.

These are going back in the pot. When I get time and my back quits hurting, I'll cast some GOOD ones and load 'em up.

Good job, now just wait for some to ask "How much to do mine?".

Gonna try these out with about 12.0g of 2400. I'm betting they perform quite well cast from aircooled 50/50.
