Do not think I have that much lead, and I have 2000#+, Last month I didn't have a revolver now I have two a Taurus Gauch in 45 Colt 7.5" barrel and now a SBH 44 Mag.
Hope this one is as accurate as the Gaucho is.

I'd be really surprised if the Ruger wouldn't shoot in 3" or better at 50 yards after a little trigger work and some load development.

there's no need to keep the pressures at 44special as that gun is a total tank. The older SBH's are IMO the best handgun ever made.

That one looks real nice!

FWIW yours was built in '78 .. If it's as good as my two from 78 were , it's agood one ..

I think I paid $175 each for mine back then ..

It is at least 98%+ the only marks on it is the tracks on the cylinder. Swore I wasn't going to have a 44 Mag due to an old Virginia Dragoon I had kicked like a mule and I can throw rocks in a better groupe. I got a new Taurus Gaucho that shoots better than I do at 25/50 yds and has as good a trigger as any gun I have except my Shiloh Sharps which I expect for that price, but the SBH is close and I think has had a trigger job as it is better than my sons BH trigger.
