Hi all- I want to change out the irons on my ruger Mk II bull barrel. they just aren't very good.

Millets look nice, but they are 80 dollars. Are they worth it? is there a better, more affordable option?

I had / have a reddot on this gun now, and I use it for hunter sill. however, I want to get better with irons.

what say you guys for non-perfect target applications and general plinking?

I put on the Millet flat black target rear, (no stinkin' white out line), and left the factory undercut front on my 5-1/2" bull. It knocked a bunch off my 50 yd. groups. I lucked out though, and Gunparts had some that were mispacked with the wrong allen wrench, for something like 14$. I should have bought 10.

Dubber- so it works fine without the new front? that saves some cash :) I'll start hunting for a decent price

If it's the same rear as I have, an angled back, serrated rear, with no white outline, it fits great wiht my stock, undercut front on my 5-1/2" bull. I am at the bottom of the adjustment, which is fine with me.

It knocked over 1/2" off my 50 yard groups. I like very little light up the sides of my rear sight, and this Millet tightened things up alot.

Before you order, if they give a sight notch width, I can measure mine to verify that it's the same. What barrel length fo you have?
