High Desert Hunter

I am going to try and take a stab at handgun hunting this winter, I have a cow elk tag for December. I am now trying to stretch my 99% reliable accuracy mark out to the 65-75 yard mark. I have bullets I cast that do very well, but as long as I have searched, and molds I have tried, I have yet to find a bullet that works as well as this 335gr .452 WFNGC bullet from The Bullshop. This bullet works at 100 yards, even when loaded to reduced velocity in my 454, loaded them to over 1500fps, and at 1300fps and finally at 1000fps, performed flawlessly. I have tried to buy a mold that replicates this bullet, not because I don't like to buy from Daniel, but because I enjoy casting so much. Someday, I may just find that elusive mold, until then, I will have to be satisfied with my 325gr mold from Mountain Molds, it does cast a very good looking bullet, and it's accuracy comes close.

Mine is the bullet on the left, The Bullshop bullet on the right has been in my bullet collection for almost 15 years now.
