OK after much time accumulating tooling and a misstep or two I have finally finished the first turret and wanted to post some pics.I also made the handles

One of our very own makes the handles and generally keeps them in stock. When I needed some I was somewhat shocked when I found out he was right here in Ak and had them the next day. Except from looking new, I couldn't tell them apart from the original one. I could not understand why hollywood only used one handle on the turret, when 4 not only looks good, but makes it way more functional.
Nice restoration job, looks close to what a new Hollywood press must have looked like back in the day. Restoring and using old school tooling gives a person a certain satisfaction not found with new tooling. Being able to purchace different Turret heads is nice if you have other ideas as to the type of dies you want to use.

Lube it sure does will probably get it started to you on Monday.HGS I didn't restore anything the press is as I got it I got real lucky
