My favorite is the leupold 2x pistol scope with the normal duplex cross hairs. The 4x I have is difficult to shoot because of a small field of view and it magnifies any movement from me. There are many other fine pistol scopes out there.

I have the same pistol. I tried the iron sights first and it was wicked accurate so I left the scope off. The best shot I'll be able to get is within 40 yards.

Hard to beat a Leupold. I'd look at both the 2x & the 4x,, just in case you have different needs than some. I have a 41 mag Hunter that I scoped with an UltraDot. A sweet set-up for mine.

From my experince if choising a scope a 2X leupold period ! try picking up a used one! But IMO you will be better off using a red dot sight !! take a look at Ultradot 30mm red dot sights.

I personaly can shoot red dot sights alot better off hand than scopes with duplex cross hairs and can shoot red dot sights just as well as a 2x scope from a rest to at least 50 yards,
The trick is using a black circle that the dot is just a litter bigger than the dot size at that range.

I've been won over by the Ultradot red dot sight for revolver shooting from 50 to 100 yards. The model with the one-inch tube is my favorite. It is so small and light that I can take it off and put it in my shirt pocket.

I agree with Fishman that the straight 2x is best for all around use on a heavy revolver, a 454 SRH in my case.

I have a Redhawk with a Burris 1.5-4x ,while the 1.5x is good for hunting I like the 4x for bench work.

2x will handle what ya wanna do within 100yds. I have very limited exp with the dot sites , but if I were to purchase 1 I`d get the 30mm for the wider view. As the price goes up on the dot sites the better they`ll be & most state the size of the dot also , the 1s I`ve look at had a 5"dot at 100yds.
