Client wants to do documentary on this incident:
Sacremento, CA in 1991, it is the story about the Good Guys electronics store hostage crisis.
I need to provide weapons wrangling, props and blank fire weapons.
What did officers carry? What was in the trunk? What did SWAT team members carry? What rifles/scopes did the police snipers use...
I would like to hear from someone who was on the PD, I HATE seeing anachronisms in film and video!!!

My home town and I lived there then. Old brain cells missing. To much water under the bridge or gray hairs... lol.

Some people on Calguns.net who were on PD may be able to help on this- It was the kind of day an officer might not wish to think about again, though. Lost 5 hostages, and a lot more wounded.

It was the county sheriff's department, not Sac PD. Different.

Shortly after this happened the Good Guys decided to contract with the Armored truck company I worked for. Originally they asked if our couriers could come in the store unarmed as the Good Guys employees were still a bit jittery around guns. We told them of course not. We still got the contract. Interesting video, I have never seen that one.
