25-35 CB loads

Anyone have data for 86 gr castboolit loads for the old 25-35? Looking for a good plinkin round with Unique or maybe IMR 4198.

I've used 5 gr Unique with the Ideal 257312. Under 2" at 50 yards in my relined Savage 99.

About any of the older handbooks should have a bunch of cast boolit loads for this cartridge.

Ed Harris has an article in The Back Creek Diary on the Hensley& Gibbs website on this very subject. A good how-to on how to form .25-35 from .30-30 brass and .25-20 equivalent loads using the RCBS plainbased or Meister bullets. I'm using 7 grs. of #2400 with the RCBS bullet for 1400 fps.
