Hi.
Has anybody had a chance to use a Magma Master Caster. Our club is thinking about buying one. Any input would be helpful.
Thanks. Ed.

Ed, I used one briefly while I was slowly packing it up for shipping to BD. I managed a great number of boolits in limited time and am still shooting several of them. IMO, you can cast faster using a four or six cavity mold, but with much greater effort. The one I used had an upgraded stainless steel pot, and the original owner stated that the stock pot didn't last at all. BD will probably post if he sees this and give more info. Tony

i have 2 they are an easy way to get good bullets for novices.
my kids can easily use them with a little instruction, and some watching
[note they will get bored quickly]
but you can easily make 2-300 per hour.
and use 1 or 2 hole molds. but if you want to use rcbs etc molds you
will need to send them into magma to have them fit to the caster.
no complaints with mine, and magma is really nice to deal with

I really like mine its fast, boolits are great quality, easy to keep every thing the same temp. 40lbs pot, easy to operate.
