You posted "molds" as in more than one mold in a pic?

you can post a photo of a single mold.
the pluralness is implied to the entire thread.

Thanks cbrick, love those silly Labs.

Bullwolf has to be a dedicated caster!

Actually the hand held hot pot is pretty casual, but sometimes I don't want to cast 1000 or more boolits at one sitting. For the little stuff, the hot pot sure fits the bill.

I hope it isn't all of the lead cast shrapnel that's imbedded in my picnic table making me look dedicated. :-D

Well I like this one. Lots of character here...particullary the stove.

It probably won't be the winning pic, but I used this set up for over 15 years and cast thousands and thousands of bullets. The hotplate finally gave out about a year ago, and I replaced it with a Lee 4-20. Pictured is an LBT .512 525 grain GC mold for a 500 Linebaugh Maximum.

Why the wooden dowel in the nose of those MINI?

43PU,Hi,I am attempting to work as near to Joseph Whitworths specs as possible. He was part of an ordnance test to see if the Pattern 53 Enfield Rifle could be replaced with a more accurate Rifle. The tests where compared against the P53,the Lancaster Oval Bore and Joseph Whitworths large Calibre (.568)Hexagonal bore Rifle using a standard Bullet for the P53 with the same Powder Charge. Both the Lancaster and Whitworth fared poorly and required Bullets designed for their Rifling.Whitworths New Bullet performed extremely well. The Wood filled nose Bullet was designed to improve its Stability and balance at extreme Distances.Hope this explains my quest.

hehe, the flower was necessary. They are very sensitive molds getting in touch with their feminine side.

I published Glen's book on my website, the cover and the index photos are mine.
